What We Do
 FAR is passionate about facilitating the holistic transformation of marginalized communities, helping them address and overcome the root causes of poverty.
Our approach is different from most. We believe in building long-term relationships with communities based on mutual respect and partnership. For the past 24 years FAR has consistently assisted the most marginalized in Sudan. Learn about FAR’s Strategy in its five-year strategic direction for Sudan.
FAR assists the people of Sudan in four strategic ways:
- Water & Sanitation – accessing safe water and improving hygiene
- Economic Development –building livelihoods and generating income
- Food Security – accessing nutritious food all year round
- Peace & Conflict Transformation – living in restored households and communities
